Toxicology

  • Oral LD₅₀ (rat): 1,500 mg/kg

  • Ecotoxicity: Highly toxic to fish (LC₅₀ 4.2 mg/L for rainbow trout).

Applications

Agriculture:

  • Pre- and post-emergence selective herbicide for controlling annual broadleaf and grassy weeds in soybean, corn, and wheat fields.

  • Recommended dosage: 0.5-1.5 kg a.i./ha (soil spray or early post-emergence application).

Target Crops:
Soybeans, corn, wheat, and carrots (avoid sensitive crops such as watermelon and cucumber).

Mode of Action:
Photosynthesis inhibitor (targets D1 protein in PSII), disrupts electron transport.
