linesterase inhibitor which disables cholinesterase, an enzyme essential for central nervous syst

nd vegetables. Also used for control of flies in animal houses. Typical application rates for cerea
ls 340-680, citrus 2100, olives 720, beetroot 84-600, vegetables 330 -600 (all in g/ha per applica
tion).

Skin and eye: Acute dermal LD50 for rats >2000 mg/kg. Non-irritating to skin and eyes (rabbits). Not a skin sensitiser.
Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats 135-163, guinea pigs 504, rabbits 1000-2000 mg/kg. Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits >5000 mg/kg; (tech.) for rats >2000 mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 (4-6 h) for rats >0.2 mg/l (14 ppb).
